Ben C. Eastman

Ben C. Eastman (October 24, 1812 – February 2, 1856) was a U.S. Representative from Wisconsin.

Born in Strong, Maine, Eastman attended the public schools. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1840 and practiced in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He moved to Platteville, Wisconsin, the same year and continued the practice of law. Secretary of the legislative council of Wisconsin Territory 1843–1846. He served as district attorney of Grant County.

Eastman was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-second and Thirty-Third Congresses (March 4, 1851 – March 3, 1855). He declined to be a candidate for renomination in 1854. He resumed the practice of law. He died in Platteville, Wisconsin, February 2, 1856. He was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison, Wisconsin.
